The US has more guns than people and more firearm deaths than any other rich country. Polling shows that Americans support stricter gun control.

 

But progress on gun control laws that could save lives is completely stagnant.

 

One can only say, there must be some political ties on Capitol Hill preventing lawmakers from enacting any real change.
